At the very outset let me congratulate you on your decision to join this Institute. Our country is poised for great advancement. The present is a transitional phase where core strengths and new technologies are emerging as front leaders. The Information Technology has ushered in a new era. The knowledge gained, besides helping us in taking maximum advantage of the available resources, will also open new frontiers. The late Babu Banarasi Das Ji, who had lent dignity to the Office of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, must have foreseen all this and visualized an Institution that would prepare young professionals to meet the future challenges. The establishment of Babu Banarasi Das College of Pharmacy is thus a step towards fulfillment of his dreams.
